Privacy Policy
Updated:
We respect your privacy and process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation 2016/679). Below is what we collect, on what basis, how long we keep it, and how you can manage your data.
1. Who processes your data
The data controller is RIX Freight, SIA, registration number 4003996558, registered address: Latvia, Riga, Vienības 108, LV-1058.
For any data questions, write to logisttt@mail.ee or Telegram @Pisssmooo.
2. What data we collect
When you fill in the contact or job-application form, we receive the data you provide voluntarily, plus technical data captured automatically to protect against abuse:
- Name — how you introduced yourself.
- Contact — email or Telegram handle for our reply.
- Country of interest — which EU country you need an address in (context, not your location).
- Message text — what you wrote.
- IP address and User-Agent (browser/device) — captured automatically to protect against spam and fraud.
- Date and time of the request.
2a. Cookies and analytics
This site uses no tracking cookies and shares no analytics data with external advertising or analytics services. To understand traffic, we run our own self-hosted analytics (Umami) on our server in the EU.
- We collect only anonymised, aggregated data: page views, referral source, country, and device and browser type.
- No cookies and no cross-site tracking. We cannot identify you from analytics data.
- Your IP address is not retained for analytics: it is processed only momentarily to derive your country and a daily-rotating anonymous identifier, then not stored. Separately, for fraud prevention, your IP is stored with your inquiry (see sections 2 and 5).
- The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in improving the site; you may object to this processing (Art. 21, see section 6). We keep aggregate statistics for no longer than 24 months. Analytics data stays on our server and is not shared with third parties.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We process this data on the following GDPR legal bases:
- Responding to your inquiry — Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective customers. Where your message concerns entering into a service agreement — also Art. 6(1)(b) (pre-contractual steps at your request).
- Spam and fraud prevention (analysing IP, device, request frequency) — Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell or share your data for marketing. Only the following processors are involved in running the service:
- ipapi.co — IP geolocation for the anti-fraud check. Only the IP address is sent (not name/contact). US-based provider.
- Telegram — notifying the owner of a new inquiry. The form content is forwarded to the owner's private chat via a Telegram bot.
4a. Transfers outside the EEA
The IP check via ipapi.co (USA) is a transfer outside the European Economic Area (Art. 13(1)(f), Chapter V GDPR). Only the IP address is transferred — not your name, contact, or message text. The transfer relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC, Art. 46 GDPR) and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in line with ipapi.co's processing terms. You can request details via the contacts above.
5. How long we keep it
Inquiries are automatically deleted 365 days after receipt. If you ask us to delete sooner, we will do so within 30 days (Art. 12(3) GDPR), usually much faster (see 'Your rights').
IP and User-Agent are part of the inquiry record and are deleted along with it.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR (Art. 15–21) you have the right to:
- Access your data (Art. 15).
- Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16).
- Erase your data — the 'right to be forgotten' (Art. 17).
- Restrict processing (Art. 18).
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
- Data portability (Art. 20).
7. How to exercise your rights
The fastest way to delete your data is the form below: enter your contact, get a confirmation link, and delete your inquiries yourself.
For access, rectification, or other requests, write to logisttt@mail.ee or Telegram @Pisssmooo. We respond within 30 days (Art. 12 GDPR).
8. Lodging a complaint
If you believe we have violated your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv) or the supervisory authority in your EU country.
9. Automated decisions
Our anti-fraud system helps us triage inquiries but does not make automated decisions with legal effects for you. Every inquiry is reviewed by a human.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the last change is shown at the top. We will try to highlight material changes prominently.
